Remoh is a nationally known American R & B singer-songwriter and producer best known for his soulful voice, vocal range, balled-style singing and love driven lyrics. Remoh’s vocals, style, charm and good looks have earned him tremendous national success and longevity.
Born Homer Thompson to Homer and Betty Thompson on September 28, 1964 in Detroit, MI. the singer-songwriter is the 10th of 13 children. Encouraged to sing by his parents and 12 brothers and sisters (Cornelia, Carnell, Jessie, Dorothy, Mae, Jacqueline, Raymond, Leonard, David, Ida, Rayvena and Meres “Betty”), Remoh began singing at an early age for family and in the streets of Detroit and Flint Michigan.
Remoh shared record labels with rapper M.C. BREED (R.I.P.) under KID BLAST AND THE TASK FORCE RECORDS during the early 80’s and also grew up with Flint’s own “READY FOR THE WORLD” and his friend John Eaton, bass player for Ready For The World. Remoh has performed as the opening act for Freddie Jackson, Jeffery Osborne, The Dramatics and numerous other artist.
Remoh is a U.S. Army veteran and works as a radio DJ for over 20+ years and as a youth mentor in Columbus GA.
